hoovernut
I am part way through a detailing job on a two tone 25 but I'm struggling with the dark green colour. I am aware that the bottom green in sherwood green but as for the top colour I'm unclear. I have tried standard loco green but it seems to light. Has anyone an idear which shade of green it should be. Thanks in advance Mick
Vin
Hi Mick, The sherwood green is the lighter shade for the stripe shade Railmatch 2301. The standard loco green 2300. I have sometimes had to spray two or even three coats to get a good depth of colour on the darker shade. Hope this helps. Vin
bigherb
It also depends on whose paints you are using. They all seem to have different shades. Precision do two loco greens, pre and post 1954, post 54 being darker.
