Guest TomTank
Hi all Has anyone dealt with this online shop? http://www.expressmodels.co.uk/ I was drawn to it due to there extensive stock of lighting and smoke gens. I ordered a red tail lamps over a week ago, I didn't recieve and order email after buying, and I emailed them asking about the status of my order and have heard nothing. Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on the shop? Cheers Tom
10800
I ordered some Kadees last Thursday, received a confirmation email immediately and they arrived on Saturday. If you haven't had an email confirming your order then something's gone wrong somewhere. Have you tried phoning them?
Trains4U
Hi Tom, Express models are a small home-based business specialising in the construction of lighting for model railways. I deal with Rob and Jeanette fairly regularly (They refer quite a few light-fitting queries to me) Rob has been quite ill for some time, as a result the pace of work building lights, kits and accessories has slowed. They are trying to fulfill back-orders at the moment but it is sometimes difficult to keep up with demand. They are good, but thay are also under pressure, so give them a few more days to respond to your request. It may be that the tail lamps are being made in response to your order. If you have still heard nothing in a few days then try using their contact page on the website. I can certainly vouch that they are not rogues! They will sort you out even if they have to offer a refund. cheers
jwealleans
I went to them for a custom lighting kit when I built my one and only diesel. Very helpful, pretty quick and reasonably priced. I'd be confident you're not being taken for a ride, Tom.

PNEYorkshire
Does anyone know if they offer a pickup service? Obviously id be better off talking to them direct but while im on here i thought id see if anyone else has done this before. I know Bromsgrove Models do but not all home-based businesses do...which is understandable.
