wollastonblue
With items ordered for my new layout, I am now pondering the suitablility of Steel bridges. I was planning to use the following bridges: http://www.kato-unitrack.co.uk/kato-unitrack-20-432-248mm-single-track-truss-bridge-in-grey-1330-0.html and http://www.kato-unitrack.co.uk/kato-unitrack-20-450-186mm-single-track-plate-girder-bridge-in-red-1335-0.html but after perusing loads of photographs on Google et al, I have noticed that most of them are stone built viaducts rather than metal bridges. I'm not adverse to building a kit, but using the Kato ready made items would make life a lot easy. Are the bridges i have chosen suitable? I realise that 9mm track is not that prototypical, but I can live with the difference of 3mm. Thanks in advance for any help.
RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted July 21, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 21, 2015 Look at Noch, Faller and Kibri sites as they do some very similar stone bridges to the RhB style. Faller 222583 and 222585 Kibri 37663, 37664, 37665 and 37666 All these are close to RhB style and simple kits. A few prices on Gaugemasters site http://www.gaugemaster.com/search_results.asp?searchstring=bridges%20brand~~634~~brand%20%20scale~~%ACn%AC~~scale%20category~~1229~~category
