edcayton
Back to my OP ( ), there is a little article about the Barrington trains in the latest Railway Magazine, including a track layout of the terminal and the rebuilt light railway, which explains why two loco's are useful to avoid blocking level crossings and delay to trains on the Cambridge line. Southernman46
Thanks guys. Can't see the trains so well from son's flat now as the trees and hedge are getting too big. Ed Sadly like most of Britain's railway these days
RMweb Premium Reorte Posted September 15, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 15, 2015 Sadly like most of Britain's railway these days Not on the Borders Railway - yet. I didn't think that all the trees were deliberate, just that NR don't have much of an incentment to do anything about them, yet that's got loads planted. Could've been some screening condition to get the go-ahead to build it at all I suppose.
