Catweasel
I must confess that I have stalled on my projects. Then BRM Sept arrived. Whoa. Littleworth Sidings puzzle layout. I had a spare 4 foot x 18" baseboard and some track (Code 75) and off I went. First off, the board was covered with 1/8th cork. Bit of luck I'll be able to surface mount everything. Name of layout I don't know yet but I'll think of something. Should be able to lay track tomorrow. Board is buried under a mass of books at the moment. south_tyne
Hi Catweasel, Glad to see something has spurred you into life! For the benefit of those of us who have not seen a copy of BRM what can of trackplan does the layout use? Looking forward to seeing some progress! Catweasel
Classic Inglenook as for as I can see. Bit of straight and 2 points. Brilliant.
south_tyne
Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for the magazine, I am a fan of a good inglenook!!
south_tyne
Managed to have a good old look at BRM yesterday and have to agree with you! What a lovely little layout and can understand your temptation to give something similar a go. It looks like small radius points have been used in this version, doesn't look cramped at all though. Kenton
I had a spare 4 foot x 18" baseboard and some track (Code 75)Just perfect* for a BritOOMod(Dave) Module! * well close as makes no difference - we are not fussy Good luck with this one - still think an Inglenook is the best starting point (well two actually).
