RMweb Premium melmerby Posted September 10, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 10, 2015 Hi all Recently published is the latest in the serties of European Rail Atlasses by German publisher Schweers + Wall This one is "Eisenbahnatlas Frankreich, Band 1 Nord" ( In French: Atlas ferroviaire de la France, Tome 1 Nord.) For those that haven't seen the series there is a wealth of detail of current and closed lines with gauge, electrification, preservation etc. There are also some detail maps for certain "busy" areas such as Paris The languages used in the text varies from atlas to atlas with German + some others. I got mine in Ian Allan in Brum for £22.99 which for what it is is quite good value, although I think a little less detailed than the previous offerings which were: Eisenbahnatlas Deutschland Eisenbahnatlas Österreich Eisenbahnatlas Schweiz Eisenbahnatlas Italien und Slowenien Eisenbahnatlas EU Also in the series is "Rail Atlas Europe" which is published in the UK (In English) by Ian Allan.
