RhBBob
The Avro Lancaster is test flying on Monday next, to be followed by a series of flights over Lincolnshire landmarks, including presumably the Bomber Command Memorial spire on Canwick Hill, Lincoln. Monday is the first 'excursion' for the bomber since the engine fire which caused it to miss the entire 2015 season.

RMweb Gold chriswright03 Posted October 9, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 9, 2015 You can look here http://www.raf.mod.uk/bbmf/ Or if you are on Facebook there is a Conningsby Spotters pag that has lots of info. Not too sure if you have to join. Hope that helps.
RhBBob
Thanks, Chris Sorry, Clearwater, there are due to be further announcements, presumably once the initial test flight has been safely undertaken. 'Home' for the BBMF is RAF Coningsby some 25 miles south-east of Lincoln (despite being in LN4 !! ) so I'm guessing that Coningsby to Lincoln may be a good 'first' flight.
