I picked up a copy of this at Utrecht

A very interesting selection of mostly wagon photos from the 1950's, 60's and 70's but including at least 20 ferry wagon photos.

Recommended to those who like their German wagons.

What's the DR - wagon content like?? (as in, DR 1948-90).

The Carstens wagon books are all very nice (I have vols 1,2,3 and 5), but certainly the earlier ones pretty much ignore East German wagons, so aren't massively useful to me.

The Willke book is pretty good, albeit with a DB (Stuttgart area) slant. Phots mainly of unusual wagen, mix of b/w and colour, 1950s to 1980. Not much 'porridge', but all interesting. Some loks, mus and coaching stock. Foreign stock gets a look in, SNCF, SNCB, FS, PKP, DR, even BR. Fab pic of a BR A-type container on a SNCB K. £20 on Amazon Uk at the mo, good value and well worth that.

Many thanks to Steve, who ensured a copy was in my pile of Xmas presents!
