quick update.. .text only for now.... track has been laid and the platform areas have been marked, just got to get some flexable platform sides, still debating whether to have a looping layout and build a bit more to the left hand side or just making it end to end

MOAR PICTURES

as you can see I've found some wood for one or two of the platforms that will then be clad with scale scenes platform kits

and here is just an overall view of the station, there will be a road over bridge on the left hand side to allow for the layout to be extended or for changes to be made to the running configuration

2 more boards on their way as this station is becoming an amalgamation of Moorgate and the Barbican with Moorgate crossrail that will cross the main tracks on a over head line, lower lines will be 3rd and 4th rail top lines will be overhead electrics... though I'm not 100% sure

now just to get a new DCC system, I'm thinking about a Z21 [full system or starter I'm not decided on]

I also need a modern london themed back scene

so I'm home from my holiday and I've decided the station will be pilot release for trains and an 08 or one of those Hornby TTS class 20s will be the pilot loco as I already have one, the next thing to do is build the 2 other boards, one final scenic board and the cassette fiddle yard

something looks a bit off in this photo..... can't quite put my finger on it

oh it's mk1's behind a class 92 thats what  :jester:

Kadees fitted and working, though I need to use a barrier wagon for my 09 if I want to use it as a station pilot

anyway work is progressing but I still need to build that elusive 2nd scenic board and fiddle yard

I'm still here, been busy with work to pay for all my models, anyway, materials for the fiddle yard have arrived so going to be building that soon along with a 3-4ft scenic addition to the station area, also trying to work out how to make modern modular station platforms

so with the layout now is full swing here's some updated photos, platforms aren't affixed yet, and still need to build the next section of the station and possibly a scenic exit for the scene
