whistler
I bought one of these 00 gauge models at the Manchester show recently. Though a good looking model it has some major flaws. Firstly, the cab lights are constantly illuminated and the headcode box lights up in the wrong direction to travel. I've emailed Dapol, who did reply promptly but with an unsatisfactory response. They say that the cab lights are meant to be permanently illuminated, being a train driver, I know that cab lights shouldn't be constantly on. So this is a big issue for those who want to prototypically run the loco. Does anyone have an suggestions as to if and how the cab lights can be switch to off using DCC ? pitbull1845
Check out the all ready running Dapol 73 thread, plenty of answers on there. I've asked the mods to link this in with that one.. Cheers
