For now all i could do was putting the points down. I hope that during half term, and inbewteen working to do some more on this new layout but only time will tell. For now here is some pictures!! tommy mac Posted August 24, 2010 Author Share Posted August 24, 2010 Work on the unnamed layout will start tomorrow as i have more time and have found the dremel soldering iron and other tools i need. Buildings will mostly be scratch as i want to expand my modeling skills. Also i have a cuning and what might be seen as a strange modeling project to start. As all of the points on this layout has insul frog point 0-4-0 will struggle, I have two pugs, a Hornby and a Dapol model which i am very fond of but know they will not be able to cope with the track work. What I planned to do is a sort of pug double fairle. Has this ever been done and will it work? I plan to cut the buffer blocks off, remove the cab backplate somehow run the wires from both moters to extra pick ups then make a fake bolier cover and extend the cab roof and add a crew!
