Rick_Skateboard Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 Hello All. I'm sure this has beeen covered before, but as sound chips are always getting better and better I'll ask again. What recommendations can people make for LMS Black 5 DCC sounds? I'd like to fit my Hornby model with sound and there's a few things I'd like specifically. Obviously sound quality of the exhaust beat and whistle are important, but also I'd like a sound set that allows you to shut off power and coast. Being able to synchronise the wheels to the chuffs is a big one for me as it would drive me mad if it didn't look right as well as sounding right. Playable whistles would be nice too. I don't like random sounds coming on automatically, like blowing off, drain cocks, injector, fireman shovelling etc, but it would be nice to have them optionally on the function buttons. Any advice would be appreciated, especially if anyone has the most recent releases/versions of sound sets, I get the impression the people making them are constantly updating and improving.
