bxmoore
Here's a video I recently made of my friend Rob Mallett's developing Lodi Junction layout - a fictitious representation of an SP branch line in California. Still lots of detail work to do. The layout is about 10x10'. Brian
pitbull1845
Lovely layout and great video, this American itch I have is going to need to be scratched soon I'm sure...
Colinw62
Looks a lot of layout in 10 X 10. Is there a track plan anywhere?
w124bob
Lodi Junction appears on a DVD somewhere, I seem to remember Bladwins on a lumber line and California Traction but that's about all ! A quick Google shows a model railroad store and at least one other layout, http://www.rogersrailroadjunction.com/ . Your layout looks good ! pmackinnon2004
Lovely wee layout, also interested in a track plan, ideal for our house since downsizing. Don't really see that many small layouts, my spare room is approximately 12 x 11 ish. Things of this size is what i've been searching for. I'll assume it's an "L" shape ?. Does he have any plans to extend it? Either way I'm much impressed by the finish and the interest created by the switching movements. bxmoore
I'll talk to Rob to see if there's a track plan. Thanks for all the kind words, which I'll pass on. The layout is essentially a U-shape, with three storage tracks behind the cement works. The train with the single geep exits to them at 11.47. No plans to extend it, as it fills the room and he's got a lot more work to do on the detailing. Brian

pmackinnon2004
Evening Brian thanks for the track plan, watched the video a few times today, taking in the things I missed on previous viewings. For a small layout It appears to be spacious and uncrowded, but with a lot of potential for moves etc. Peter
Allegheny1600
Hi Brian, Thanks for posting this, it's such a good layout that I had to put it straight into my "great layouts" folder on youtube! I really enjoy watching it and could spend many hours switching on it. Cheers, John.
bxmoore
I did this plan a few weeks ago, and it will hopefully give some more idea of what's going on. Note that the layout is 9x9'. Brian
