  1. Brilliant idea a magazine which caters for layouts that now suit my available space. Looking forward to future issues as and when they might appear. Peter
  2. Chris Well impressed with what I see of Haston Green, might poach your idea for "N". Have to get some British "N" first though. You certainly don't let the grass grow under your feet between china clay and "O" gauge, well done that man. Peter
  3. If you want to be on first name terms with your meter reader......get one fitted. Our last house we saw the meter reader once a year if lucky. We either read it ourselves or it was estimated. Moved house eighteen months ago, had a Smart Meter fitted and he arrives every three months to read it. Tells me all that I need to know, a tick box exercise paid for by us. Really don't know why I was surprised though, good old SSE. Peter
  4. You could always mix your own, doesn't need to be an exact match. The loco would only be the named colour on the day it leaves the paint shop. Dirt and weather would soon take its toll on the colour and finish. Reasonably sure that if you saw a few locos together there would be differences in colour. Peter
  5. Model Junction do a 10 jar set covering CP and CN colours. It's £21.00 for the set and they are Acrylic and made by Badger. I have sprayed them in the past with no problems. Peter
  6. A true star of a man, a gent......an absolute font of all knowledge. I for one feel so much better for having known him. His wit and humor was something special. Rest easy Jack you'll be very much missed by me and more people than you'd ever realise. Peter
  7. Think this may help, seems to be reasonably priced http://www.postpack.co.uk/acatalog/noma-foam-u-profile.html Regards Peter
