Gordon A
Help please. I have just downloaded Templot 2.13a on my new computer (Windows 10). I have been happily using the old Templot for a good number of years on an older computer. My problem is when it comes to printing. On the old system when you pressed print I am used to an index screen showing the hole track diagram and the individual pages. This gave you a choice to print all the pages or you could select individual page(s) to print. On 2.13a this index page appears in a flash and vanish leaving the selection to print box. How can I get the index page to stay on the screen so I can select which individual pages to print? I have tried looking up on the Templot Companion site with no joy. gordon s
Gordon, if you want to PM me your phone number, I will happily talk you through it whilst I have it on screen. You will be pleased to know 2.13A will do exactly what you want without problem.
gordon s
Having just fired up my machine, you may be using the print-now function. You need to go to the 'output' menu and then select 'print background templates'. That should bring up the box you are looking for.
Gordon A
Hi9 Gordon S Thank you for the help. You are quite right. Is it still possible to print an index page showing the page layout in relation to the full track plan? Many thanks. Gordon A
gordon s
Yes. On the pop up box for Print Background Templates is a button 'Print Page Map'. If the area you want to print exceeds the number of pages you can print, you can move the Print Origin using Ctrl/Shift/F10 pressed together. This shows the print pages in dotted lines and you can move them up/down/sideways using the mouse until the required parts of the layout are covered.
