RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted March 10, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 10, 2016 Hi Andy, I've just tried to access one of my 'Followed Topics' from the section on the Index page, but it's coming up with a permission error for that section of the forum. Is there any way to remove a Follow from a thread when the thread itself isn't accessible? TIA Ian
RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted March 10, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 10, 2016 Hi Ian, Go to: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=followed Find the topic in the list. Click the Change button on the right. Select Stop following in the drop-down list which appears. Click Update selected. Martin.
RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted March 10, 2016 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 10, 2016 Hi Martin, The topics causing the problems aren't in that list unfortunately, but thanks for the pointer.

RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted March 11, 2016 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 11, 2016 Which topic is it? I'll see if I can get around it somehow. These two: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/30734-stock-rationalization-part-one/?view=getlastpost http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/33007-oo-locomotives-and-units/?view=getlastpost I think they were in a previous classifieds or buy/sell area. Andy Y
Apologies for that; now the software module has been removed I can't purge it. They don't seem to show in your 'Content I Follow' from the dropdown but they do show on the Index Page 'My Followed Topics'. If you follow a couple of other topics it should bump them off the bottom of the list.
RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted March 11, 2016 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 11, 2016 OK, no problems. At least if anyone else comes across the problem you know what it could be. I'll leave them as is for now.
