I know that quite a few Gresley wooden bodied coaches were converted to work as push pull units, but were the Thompson coaches ever modified in this way? Many thanks with any help you can provide. billbedford Posted March 15, 2016 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Five D.361 firsts and two d.339 thirds were converted to p&p trailers The first were re-clasified as composites (2/5) and appear to have been employed on Darlington-Middleton in Teesdale, Richmond and Hull district workings.
