br2975
hi, would any one happen to know the current state and uses of Cardiff Canton please....... The former 'servicing shed' and 'main shed' are occupied by Pullman Rail a subsidiary of Colas Rail. . As well as rolling stock repairs they undertake bogie and wheelset repairs. . There is usually a Colas loco stabled here, the loco working the empty log train to Briton Ferry / Baglan Bay runs light to Canton, stables, then returns the following day to collect the loaded train for Chirk. . The carriage shed and former DMU depot are used by Arriva Trains Wales. . Network Rail have a presence at Taff Vale Sidings which are adjacent to Ninian Park 'halt'. .
