70E Posted March 19, 2016 Share Posted March 19, 2016 I have a new tooling class 33 (model rail version) fitted with legomanbiffo sound, excellent. Just noticed that the lights didn't work at one end. From removing the body I found that the light was blackened and had melted the light rod. The other end is beginning to blacken as well although the light rod is ok. I have emailed Howes today about how to get it fixed but was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues and if so how they got it resolved? JSpencer Posted March 20, 2016 Share Posted March 20, 2016 I had a class 23 (baby deltic) with non working lights at one end. Howes sold me a light unit. The thing plugs into the pcb board and was easy enough to swap over. Cannot comment for the 33, but I would have thought that they used a similar concept.
