rockershovel
.... which rather brings us back to the European Referendum. I've never heard any credible explanation (apart from Blair's utter bedazzlement with Clinton) of how we benefit from a hugely expanded education system, much of it of dubious quality, at the highest fees in Europe (and by a considerable margin, in some cases almost an order of magnitude). The Germans don't appear to operate such a system, for example. The upper tier of the French system is expensive but good, the lower tier so-so but cheap. RMweb Premium kevinlms Posted March 26, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 26, 2016 This what comes of the bank's senior managers (very well paid) getting rid of so many of the backroom staff (low paid). A few years back, when we were waiting for some mortgage documentation to be dealt with, we discovered that the bank had a large office in Birmingham which had such a backlog of work that mail was not even being opened until three weeks after delivery, never mind processed. Common enough problem, that's why they date stamp its arrival, so anything applicable is from that date, regardless of when actually opened and acted on.
