Clay Country
Reported here nearly a month ago: http://www.railjournal.com/index.php/rolling-stock/new-seibu-railway-emus-to-reflect-the-landscape.html An interesting idea that probably looks more 'invisible' in the computer rendering than it would in real life, and I suspect the real thing will look quite different - it will have passenger doors for starters. Headlights should make it visible to anyone working on the track - certainly no need for yellow ends (as we finally seem to have realised in the UK). RMweb Premium Claude_Dreyfus Posted April 12, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 12, 2016 There are all sorts of really cool concepts on Japanese railways - see some of the new Land Cruise type trains they are planning. Will be interesting to see (if that is the right word!) how this develops. Small point; I'm pretty sure the Seibu Railway does not operate Bullets...
