Screw coupling

There's a scale drawing of Exactoscale screw-link coupling here:

www.finescale.org.uk/pdfs/4CP%20S01A.pdf

Edit: to change 3-link to Screw-link

I believe the drawing is meant to be printed 100% on A4 paper, then the measurements can be taken from there, but not tried it myself.

There's a scale drawing of Exactoscale 3-link coupling here:

Actually its not a 3-link coupling but a screw coupling as was wanted, although it says that the scale is 10:1 it doesn't give any printing size so you can't get any meaningful dimensions off it.

Thanks all, it's for the GWR 43xx I'm building, a side view of the hook with dimentions would also be good, I found all mesurements on the net a few days ago but forgot to save the link :scratchhead:

Thanks, I've just ordered their GWR working ones, they look very fine.

They are incredibly fine, based around a 0.5mm dia screw. Careful when handling it - it can be easy to snap, and I don't think C&L sell spare screws in the same way that Exactoscale used to when Bernard Weller ran the business.

Thinking about it, I fitted two to a kit built 61xx I did around twenty years ago, I left the layout for about twelve years and when I picked that loco up a year or so ago, the couplings had rusted and fell apart.
