3 mm scale loco handrails

The 3 mm Society supplies what appears to be scale short and long handrail knobs. These are incredibly small and look superb.

 

Can anyone please tell me what SWG / diameter wire should be used with these knobs.

 

I'm guessing it might be 6 thou 38 SWG [ 0.152 mm] or even 4 thou 42 SWG [ 0.101 mm] - or is it 36 SWG ?

I think from memory that it's either .33 or .4mm. Both are available through people like Alan Gibson as straight brass. You could also try .010" guitar string available from good musical instrument shops.
