Hawk
I have with great interest read the fascinating story of Roye England. The Wild Swan biography "In Search Of A Dream" is one of my favourite model related books. But there is one thing that puzzles me. In 1925(!) Roye patended an automatic control system for model railways. Have anyone ever studied his patent and made an evalution of the scheme? Would it have worked? And have any of his ideas been taken up by others? If I remember correctly, Peter Denny built an automatic control system for his legendary "Buckingham Central". Are there any similiarities between Roye´s and Peter´s systems?
Horsetan
I've never seen any details published of the England system. What components were used, and what would their modern equivalents be?
