metropolitan cammell Posted July 10, 2016 Share Posted July 10, 2016 I'm not 100% sure on this but Hornby numbers ending xs are sound models and have positive common for the leds non sound models have negitive common so the marker lights may not work. JCClark Posted July 18, 2016 Share Posted July 18, 2016 Hi I have had problems when putting a non sound body on a sound chassis due to the wiring differences. I blew the lights on the loco and, unfortunately, you cannot get new light inserts for the 56 like you can for the 60. I overcame the problem by fitting an Express Models lighting kit.
