johna
Hi folks . Looking for some advice. I am building a small layout that will involve a Lisbon street scene containing a row of town houses. I will be using the usual technics to construct them however my biggest problem is the Portuguese style of window and frame. I haven't been able to find any suitable for sale unless someone knows but has anyone any advise how to make them. I estimate I will need between 40/50. Cheers Johna
RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted July 21, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 21, 2016 I don't think that they are really so different from any other windows/frames. What makes them look different is that they are flush (or even slightly proud of ) the outside of the wall rather than being recessed. If you get some made by laser-cutting, I could be interested in purchasing some as I would like, some time in the future, to build a diorama/layout for Portuguese trams.
