Class 142 to be upscaled to oo gauge?

I have asked Dapol if they would be interested in upscaling the forthcoming n gauge class 142, seeming as they have done all the research and development of the n gauge model, and have covered the variations of the roofs and doors ect, they said they would if another company does not announce one shortly.

Oh wow! If that happens I'd seriously consider buying one if it isn't too expensive(northern rail variant). Might they do the same with the 156 too?

As it's taken them six years to even get this far with their N gauge model I wouldn't hope for an 00 version from them any time soon.

Real track already have a suitable chassis so I would have thought they are best placed to do a 142 eventually to follow on from the143/144 models and the standard of detail they achieve would be worth waiting for.

Class 142!!  We are not announcing one (REALTRACK) but our 144 Chassis is designed with tooling inserts to do the 142 in both versions with different seats. We did this originally to save the cost of doing another chassis, so in the scheme of things we only have a bodyshell to do!  We thought that sensible.    Charlie

So they haven't announced a OO gauge model then. Perhaps the title needs changing as it's misleading.
