The Greenwich and District Narrow Gauge Railway Society is pleased to announce that it will be holding its annual Expo Narrow Gauge® on Saturday 29th October 2016 at the White Oak Leisure Centre, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley, Kent BR8 7BT.

ExpoNG - as it is more commonly known – is Europe's premier narrow gauge exhibition, attracting visitors from across the globe. We continue to bring together the best in layouts, traders and societies from Britain and Europe. We hope to have around 65 stands in attendance, with narrow gauge layouts in all the major scales and gauges, as well as the usual range of narrow gauge traders and manufacturers, a wide range of prototype and modelling societies as well as displays of modelling techniques.

As well as fifteen exhibition layouts, we will also have around a dozen entries in various scales for this year’s Dave Brewer Memorial Challenge – building a small working layout containing a single turnout – a ‘tuning fork’ layout – bringing the total number of working exhibits this year to well over twenty!

The show will be open to the public from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Admission prices are as follows: Adults £8.00, 009 Society, 7mm Narrow Gauge Association, GEMME / TDS members, Senior Citizens £7.00. Accompanied Children (6 - 16) £1.

The White Oaks Leisure Centre is to the north of Swanley Town Centre, a short 10 minute walk from the railway station (rear exit into Everest Place), served by trains from Victoria. There are good connections from the M25 (junction 3) and the A20, and its close proximity to the Channel Tunnel terminals at Folkestone, Ebbsfleet and Ashford make it an easy day trip from the Continent. Routes will be signposted from the station and M25.
