RMweb Premium melmerby Posted September 24, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 24, 2016 This follows on from Liz McIvor's similar series about Canals broadcast in the same way a while back. It was quite an enjoyable programme and I hope the railway version is the same. Keith
Vanders
I was slightly confused by the scheduling! It also appears they're all available to watch on iPlayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b07xn9fv
Chris Turnbull
I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. Whilst I was aware of Railway Time I had no idea of the detail of its introduction and the resistance of some towns to the inevitable. I found the presentation to be erudite and down-to-earth. No celebrity presenters who know little about the subject or over-enthusiastic, shouty presenters trying to impart a false sense of excitement. It's about time we had a decent programme about railways and this is it. First-class! Chris Turnbull
