Stevelewis
I have just installed a Bachmann Next 18 decoder in a Liliput N Gauge E 44 loco The whole job took less than 5 mins from removing to replacing the body ( or it would have if I had not stopped to take some pics) I must say I am quite impressed, loco runs very well. The Next 18 suddenly makes the 6 pin seem a little old fashioned Attached pics. The 5pence coin gives an impression of the decoder's size and the pic showing the decoder with some white marks on it is due to the way that the decoder is shipped in a tiny plastic case, attached to the quite small printed info card with a blob off ' white tack' The decoder is manufactured for Bachmann by Zimo This is actually one of the fastest decoder installations I have done in around 19 years of doing it, had some horrendous ones in the early days especially with the large scale locos!
