RMweb Premium Colin Posted November 29, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 29, 2016 I was just wondering how many of us employ our modelling skills in other areas as Christmas draws ever nearer, either making things for kids/grandkids (dolls houses, forts etc) or doing our own Christmas decorations perhaps? My 3 granddaughters (well, the oldest two anyway) love the "Sylvanian Families" figures and during the summer I made the "Dog House" for them out of scrap wood and an old ice cream box, leaving it in a suitable location in the garden when they came to visit. The name is a reflection on where I seem to spend a fair bit of time...... Over the last couple of evenings I took a break from the Southern Region in 00 and adapted the Dog House to serve as an indoor Christmas decoration with a bit of play value, hopefully it will survive until the New Year!
