Won't that add the brake function to F2 on top of whatever was activated by the F2 key before?

 

What we've done on some of our club locos (and I've done here at home) is to decide on a sound that we didn't think we'd use (for example but not necessarily F8) and by adjusting the relevant CVs - I think they start around CV518 but check  the manual - we've effectively shuffled all the actions along by one F key and then set F2 to the brake function. n.b. this particular CV set is only on Zimo decoders.

Yes Ray but the op did not ask about moving the horn only how to make F2 activate the dynamic brake.
