MrWolf
I suspect that whatever we speculate is in the wagon is likely to be a load of bullocks...

Popular Post KNP
So after the adventures of the lead smuggling wagon here is a view looking back out the goods yard. No reason, thought I better keep an eye on the chaps fixing the shed door....

MrWolf
As long as they don't paint it, the station won't be closed down. 1 9
Popular Post KNP
I see PC Dibble and Rex passing the time of day outside the newsagents with The un-named Milkman appearing from around the corner, although I have to say he might move as his positioning doesn't look very convincing? It's a Hardy's Hobbies figure that I brought last year, painted, then stored in a box until the other week when I stumbled across him. Plonked him him down on a small bit of BluTac, looked OK until I reviewed this picture, he sort of seems lost and lacking direction!!! I think he either needs to join the conversation or stand outside a front door as if delivering? Edited June 24, 2023 by KNP 28
RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted June 24, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 24, 2023 (edited) I think the horse has bolted with his milk float, so he is waiting patiently while Mr Plod is making enquiries. It could be some time but we’re used to that aren’t we ? It’s a long time since we’ve seen this delightful cul de sac - and the cobbler. More please ! RMweb Premium John Besley Posted June 24, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 24, 2023 Of course he may have a guilty secret and not sure whether to carry on or go another direction and avoid a pointed question... 1 2 2
MrWolf
He could be standing facing a front door, about to deliver the milk, or he could be just coming out of a front door, looking a little furtive having just spotted the local copper?
Popular Post KNP
The milkman has been on the move. First he joined the conversation Nope, Then he went and delivered some milk! Then back to the conversation but grouped differently, better and that is where he is at the moment If happy the lump of BluTac he trod in will be removed!!!!!
MrWolf
Grouping number three I think really works, he no longer looks like he's in the middle of moving, more like a quick chat before getting on with his round. 2
Mark Townend
I actually quite like him delivering, there's already plenty of standing around chatting in LM! But I'd prefer if he could be on the other side of the road so we can see his crate of gold tops better. Thank you.
RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted June 24, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 24, 2023 It’s so long since we saw this area I’d forgotten the village shop with Arkwright standing outside hoping somebody would buy a paper. Todays headline ‘Mussolini invades Ethiopia’ should get some trade! 1
Winslow Boy
Like Rob I think the third scene works best but a fourth option would be to have someone greeting him as he delivers. 2 1

Thanks Haven't finished the plaque as I went back to the drawing board, it looked like it was painted on and not carved.
