RMweb Gold scottystitch Posted April 14, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 14, 2017 I'm after some help from the wonderful members of RMWeb. Plans for my n-gauge model of Perth General Station continue and pending the removal of the up-and-over door from the garage, and its replacement with bricks and glass, construction can shortly begin. I have a 1962 timetable that I am working out an operating sequence for and a train assembly document for passenger rolling stock formations, and I'm now wondering if there are any members out there who would have spotting logs from the period? I'm trying to get a flavour of the motive power through the station at the time, particularly in terms of diesel haulage and particularly the Highland Mainline which was dieselilsed during my chosen period. I've gleaned as much as I can from my library and t'internet images, but most focus on the steam aspect. Is there anyone who still has their logs and would be willing to share some info in this regard? Many thanks

RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted April 15, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 15, 2017 Sorry all Dad's Perth photos and spotting logs are 10 years too early, while we were on a holiday at Monifieth. Have a 1952 photo as a consolation prize! Good luck with your search.
