RMweb Gold Phil Bullock Posted April 25, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 25, 2017 Thanks for all the supportive votes folks Forgot to say - Brother Andy is at the crash site in Germany so will be able to connect there too He has tracked down some locals with memories of the crash - in their late 80s needless to say! - an initial crater 30 yards in diameter but a much bigger blast radius from where the bomb load detonated, plainly no chance to jettison them Very hard to know exactly what happened needless to say Looking at the weather a flask of hot chocolate is called for - appropriate for Bomber Command I think.....
