43110andyb
Our last club night before the exhibition due to next Mondays bank holiday! There are plenty of prizes to be won on the tombola over the weekend and now with at least five members competition layouts to add to the exhibition were as ready as we can be!! 43110andyb
A great first day of the exhibition capped by our annual BBQ and quiz this evening! Took this snap earlier as Dave C's 45 somehow managed to creep its way onto East Street (sounding very nice indeed).
GJB 60009
Thanks to the friendly Darlington club for inviting North of England Line and Rumbling Bridge to their show. We had a great weekend and we all enjoyed ourselves. Best wishes from all at SDRM.
GeoffAlan
I thoroughly enjoyed the show, the variety of layouts made for an interesting day. A big shut out for the huge N gauge layout and the many 4'x15" layouts. As an N gauge modeller the 'O' gauge 4'x15" one was particularly impressive! Truly successfully squeezing a quart (Or should that be a gallon?) into a pint pot! Edited September 4, 2017 by GeoffAlan
Norm81
Good day out, the only problem being I browsed a book in the museum shop and somehow forgot to go back and buy a copy! There were two from the same author that looked interesting, still, it's an excuse to go back...
