pete_mcfarlane
I recently bought on of these things from John Lewis, due to having a combination of a dislike for cleaning but wanting to live in a clean house. It normally sits upstairs and cleans automatically, but yesterday I took it downstairs in to the room I use for modelling. If you've not seen one in action, they do an incredibly thorough jobs of cleaning round the edges of the room, so every bit of floor they can get to receives at least one pass. Once it was done, out of curiosity I tipped out the little bin in to a clear container, and fished out a nice little selection of handrail knobs and Gibson crankpin nuts which had pinged off in random directions from the workbench over the last few weeks. So it looks like parts may no longer ping off in to oblivion in quite the same way as before.

While my cat is well behaved poo wise, I shudder to think of the mess that would be made if the Roomba encountered a pile of cat sick, or even mouse guts, both of which appear quite often!
