kirtleypete
My MTH 141P locomotive arrived yesterday and I've had a very enjoyable few hours weathering it. This is now it looked straight from the box: Lovely satin paintwork, but the valve gear and wheel rims need toning down. This is how she looks now.... All the weathering has been done with Railmatch enamel paints and brushes, nothing else. The tender comes with a load of real crushed coal already fitted but I added a bit of spillage along the sides which these tenders were prone to. I've replaced the MTH crew with Omen figures bought from Scalelink. Peter Edited July 1, 2017 by kirtleypete
RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted July 1, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 1, 2017 Clicking "like" is not really sufficient. The 141P is probably my favourite SNCF steam loco and these MTH models are amazing value.
kirtleypete
They are; this one was in a glass case at Trainsmania with a Kiss 141R and a Lemaco 242U1 and it certainly didn't look at all out of place. I'm delighted with it. Let's hope MTH do some more French engines. Peter
