Preserved Locos

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

a mate of mine has just been over to York and the N.R.M. and sent me a photo of 6229 and a blue loco (Mallard) close to one another, now that got me thinking. Why not have all the streamlined locos near each-other along with the non streamlined ones. So you could have 4472, Mallard, 6229, 6233, then 34051 and 35029 or any of the 340s that have not been rebuilt.

One thing about doing this is it would not cost that much to put on as the N.R.M.have most of the locos. IIHIC in my list above the only loco the N.R.M. does not have is 6233.

I don't think it will happen as it won't cost enough money.

OzzyO.
