Garethp8873
Has anyone else had quality problems with this year's release of the R3458 SR School 'Shrewsbury' in Wartime Black at all? My first one had a crack on the left tender buffer, the front buffer beam and one buffer had come off with the second one and the third one arrived with my supplier damaged. I am now awaiting a fourth one and I am chanting and praying that this one will be fine... Garethp8873.
Garethp8873
Update on my problem... I received my fourth model yesterday from my supplier and once again the front buffers had broken off. I have forwarded on my complaints to Hornby's Facebook page as I can't keep on doing this... Krieghoff
I'm afraid that Hornby quality seems to be headed downward. its not acceptable. I've collected their locos for years but im starting to move away from them. The prices they command are indicative of better quality. Unfortunately im not sure we as modellers are getting value.
