 you can see and hear the trains from there. If the wind is in the right direction, you can smell them too!!!

 

And if you can't smell the trains you can have a sniff of the organisers, exhibitors & visitors.  Watch out for the man with the wellies & bike pump  .  .  .  .      :onthequiet:

I had another enjoyable day here at this friendly show. Several good layouts that were new to me, as well as some old favourites, and also good to catch up with a few folk.

The sun shone on Minehead sea front, and the train ride to and from the show was as good as usual,

Very enjoyable day showing Streatwell Green. Many thanks to Dave and the club members for a well organised and friendly exhibition. Also to the cafe staff, the coffee and walnut cake was pretty good as well.

It was good to see Streatwell Green again, albeit briefly at the end of the show.

Most of the pictures I took on the day were of the big railway nearby, but here are two of Streatwell Green.

Saturday 4th August 2018 saw the Exmoor Coast Railway Modellers host their annunal Model Railway Exhibition, at the Minehead Eye, Minehead. This years line-up featured no less than 15 layouts in a variety of gauges and scales, plus excellent selection of Demo's and Trade Stands.

Layouts at the event included;

Streatwell Green - 00 Gauge

Arun Quay - 7mm Finescale

Canon's Lane Scrapyard - 4mm / 00 Gauge

Milton Monochorum - P4 Finescale

North Ealing - 3mm Finescale

Hillbrow - 009 Scale
