49395
Hi, I run mine off 12V DC. The red and upper (middle) white lights need to be run to a SPDT switch so that only one is on at a time. The lower white light needs a constant power feed so it is on all the time. Hope this helps. Mike
RMweb Gold 96701 Posted April 2, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 2, 2010 The actual instructions don't specify which wire colours to use. The kit that I have has blue, red, yellow and white wires and the connectors on the lighting unit itself have no colour coding except all commons are blue, so if the person who built it has applied any logic, the red wire might be to the red light which can be on or off in conjunction with the top white light. There are also a couple of resistors, one in series with the switch for either red or top white, and one in series with the permanently lit bottom white.
