Barrington
Is it possible to buy the unusual type of cladding shown in the photo in OO scale or even HO scale?
RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted November 19, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 19, 2017 Probably not. but Wills or similar cut into strips and interspersed with plain concrete might do the trick. I do not know of any method of making your own corrugated sheeting, but perhaps someone does?
Co-tr-Paul
Try peeling the top paper layer off of normal corrugated cardboard.
wirey33
It looks like Concrete panels to me Take a sheet of Plasticard, glue a wide strip section to it then glue three narrow pieces of microstrip (use a spacer to get the spacing correct), then glue a wide strip....repeat until end. You can do narrow horizontal pieces to replicate the joint seen on your photo. When it’s all dry, run a file along the edges of the strips to replicate the (not-perfect) cast concrete edges and spray it with your chosen colour. Many recommend Plasticote Suede Tan for concrete, but your photo looks like it’s a got a good coating of limestone or similar. Are you any good with weathering powders? Good luck and please share your results.
