RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted January 15, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 15, 2018 Does anyone have any info on what the original rectangular cowling looked like on the roof of a Centenary restaurant first? I have the outline from the comet instructions but no idea of its shape in 3D Every photo I look at is either of the rebuild br version, the wrong side or not high enough quality. I was going to make a simple u section br want to confirm first
Castle
Hi Rich, I would offer to go and have a look but that won’t help will it as the coach at DRC is presumably in its BR condition in terms of the roof? If it’s any good I can have a climb and take a picture or two. All the best, Castle
K14
Essentially a C-section cowling with quite prominently rounded edges:— 104883 - Centenary Diner GA.pdf No dimensions given, but should be easy enough to scale. P.
Castle
Thanks Pete! That will save a climb! All the best, Castle
RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted January 16, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted January 16, 2018 Thanks Pete That is want I was expecting to see, so I just need to round off the sides of the part I made at the weekend. Will get it glued on tomorrow! Thanks Pete! That will save a climb! All the best, Castle You are still going to need to have your climb, I assume yours for little Didcot will be in BR / current condition (in which case you will need the revised round vent not the one in the drawing I believe.
