locomad
A proper diamond sharpening stone will cost you rather more than £1. The local county show had a chap selling a selection of them and I bought a couple a few years ago. Expensive, but they do seem to work. Amazon offer a small selection but I have no idea as to what they are like. Bernard Works for me I've even managed to sharpen electric razor blades and find them very useful sharping lathe tools and drill bits. I've seen exactly the same sets offered in one of those machinery shops for £19.99. Local poundland for us is always worth a look, excellent source of those relatively small inexpensive items like car usb chargers and the like, why is it that one in Hellfords costs £10 yet in poundland, well just ask the staff ? alfsboy
As a sometime guitar player I shall endeavour not to follow your example. There is always slide or lap steel for the day when your sight goes or fingers drop off .Its admittedly difficult to play flamenco on a slide but someone has to do it one day .Plan B .
