RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted January 23, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 23, 2018 If I may make a suggestion which would in my view improve RMweb, Andy... Would it be possible to include a brief reference to the post being discussed, perhaps by first few words or topic/post number, in the 'Notifications' section. I sometimes post stuff that several people like, and in fact 7 have done so for one of my posts today, so it would be convenient to be able to check out these 'likes' and 'agrees' and so on in bulk rather than linking back to the post 7 times. There may of course be a good reason why this cannot be done that I am unaware of or would not understand, in which case please accept my apologies for distracting you in this way!
Andy Y
I'll look into it but it may add too much too the length of the Notifications.
eastwestdivide
Somewhat mitigating this: if you hover the mouse over "your post" in the notifications dropdown, you get the thread address appearing in the browser status bar Edit: Edited January 23, 2018 by eastwestdivide
RMweb Premium Ian Smeeton Posted January 23, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 23, 2018 Well, you learn something new every day. Suitably educated. Regards Ian
FPH 603
Could I also make a suggestion: In my followed content when I preview the 'first unread post' I only get the first few sentences in the post, but I cannot tell if there are any images attached to the post. Would it be possible in this to have a 'this post has __ image(s) attached' so I know (particularly in workbench threads) whether I should actually open the thread and have a look or if I should just 'Mark as Read'? Thanks!
