cromptonnut Posted January 25, 2018 Share Posted January 25, 2018 Hi all Having finally gotten round to unboxing my VBA van, I note that there are two loose handbrakes in the box and seemingly no instructions. There are no obvious ways of attaching although I know they go from the V hanger so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend the best glue to use to keep them on there - and if there's a good reason why they aren't attached in the first place?Many thanks 'Nut Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
F-UnitMad Posted January 25, 2018 Share Posted January 25, 2018 A famous problem that seemed to aflict almost all these HJ vans. the "good reason" they're loose being the actually rather pathetic reason that they weren't glued properly in the first place. I just used some UHU contact adhesive, a bit on each surface & let it go tacky before joining parts; leaves a little bit of 'give' to them so the levers shouldn't get broken off again. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
