sir douglas
Not much happening since the show because club space is needed for orher layouts for a while so now we can only have 2 boards up at a time so the fiddleyard is out and im building a proper display board front to replace the one that was quickly thrown together for the show An angled board of 2 parts hinged in the middle with 3 fold up legs Folded up
sir douglas
Just about ready for painting and then move onto filling the gap which is a short backscene between this board and the bridge
sir douglas
Info board painted a while ago and now trying to fit the gap back scene, a curved board which will be cut away to silhouette of a treeline At the info board end a wedge was needed to fill a gap, which is not just tapered for the angle but the right hand side of it also twists to match the curve This end will hook on Today i decided how to fit it against the bridge, screwed on a rectangle of ply in the portal which the backscene just sits against.
