Peter Kazmierczak
Rather a lucky shot, through the (grubby) windows of a Class 313. 91111 speeds through New Southgate with the 10.03 York - KX. This is but one reason I prefer just a pocket camera.
Peter Kazmierczak
Should be at school doing maths at the moment, but as our school is closed due to the snow, here's a Class 91 instead. 91125 plunges into Hadley Wood South Tunnel, bound for KX.

RMweb Gold 4630 Posted March 1, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 1, 2018 A couple of 91s in the GNER livery. A livery that IMHO suited them very well, although my photos don't do it justice.

The photos above of 91011 as 'Terence Cuneo', and as now 91111 'For the Fallen' reminds me that in it's current guise, it still bears it's 'Cuneo Mouse'

Ken.W
East Cowton 01/02/16 Following de-wirement. As I commented in another thread recently regarding the time it takes to assist a train after such incidents, note the condition of the 'pan', typical in such incidents, if I move that it'll have the wires down the rest of the way to Darlington! The OHL crew will need to get out to the local switches to isolate and earth the local sub-section, so the fitters can go on the roof to remove the remains of the pan - so I'm going to be here for 3 hours.

Ken.W
Another de-dewirement, again pan in same condition. This time though, pitch black and in a howling gale. Newham Bog ( Chathill / Belford) 01/01/15 (nice start to the year!)

We stayed there in 1981 - Deltics and 40s powering past Southbound on the other side of the wall from our caravan - marvellous! Spot on, Northmoor. Wish I'd known about the site back in 81! I'm currently angling for another stay there this year sometime.
