Pixie
Greetings All, I need to borrow some grey matter! Does anyone know what location is shown in this Youtube link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1paypgTM9Y) at 8:15 to 8:51? With the presence of the Clayton my guess is somewhere in the North of England or possibly even across the border, however my knowlodge of both of these areas is very limited. OMS - Thanks in Advance, Pix

Pixie
Thanks for the replies gents - it just struck me as a really modellable location with the Heljan Clayton and the new Bachmann Presflos, although looking at the size of it the layout would be huge! It'd be impressive mind... Thanks again, Pix

Thanks again, Pix It wouldn't be too big Pix, if you ignored the massive opencast mine behind it, and of course you could have a section of the ECML and passing trains for Torness as well - it was once (in the 80s) the largest hole in europe (no puns please) which also once contained the largest excavator - can't remember it's name but is was one of those with the "Wee Geordie" type titles. ? The Cement Works (as it's known locally) used to be the largest employer in the area, in what otherwise is typical East Lothian farmland (the wifes family are all Farmers around about it)....
